Dear Parishioners,
Last weekend it was with immense joy and thanks to God that we welcomed Bishop Philip Egan on his Pastoral Visitation to our parish community of Christ The King in Whitley Reading.
Bishop Philip has asked me to express his thanks for the joyful and warm welcome that he received. He spoke of how he felt encouraged that the parish of CTK was striving forward with regards to the Mission of The Church but there was still much to be accomplished.
Bishop Philip talked about how “The Harvest is good but the Labourers are few” The Book of James reminds us that the proof of your faith is genuine is a changed life manifested by practical living.
Genuine Faith transforms lives. Please see below or the Parish Albums for the photographs of the historical event of Bishop Philip’s visit to our parish.
Many thanks to all who helped with regards to the preparation for the Bishop’s visit.
